Create a Unique Count in FileMaker Pro

A calculation-based method of updating as the found set is changed, without running a script.

About this Article:

An older technique for counting the unique subsummary categories in a report uses a script that loops through all the records in the found set. But it is time-consuming to execute and use. So I devised a way calculation-based method that does require a script.
