About this Article:
When Web-enabled mobile phones appeared a few years ago, they came along with the marketing message that we were entering a brave new world, one where we'd use our phones to surf the Web any time, anywhere. Alas this bright, beautiful future never materialized and we were all forced to continue speaking to total strangers while waiting for our caramel macchiatos, occasionally making friends and enriching our lives by the free exchange of ideas. Even if Web browsing in public is a step backward socially there's no denying that the technology behind it is pretty darn cool. If you use FileMaker Pro to put your data on the Web, you may want to check out these techniques for making your content available to mobile devices.
