About this Article:
Most of us hate to hard code startup configuration information, such as the server's name or database location, and paths to important data files. One sure way to disappoint users is to require them to get you to change a hard-coded server name or database path in an ASP.NET application. Sometimes, it's impossible to even know which server an application will use after it's rolled out.
