Beginfinite has updated its GWAVA antispam and antivirus tool for Novell GroupWise.
Version 3 introduces the Smart Blocker learning engine. Over time, GWAVA can use Smart Blocker to learn the subtle differences between spam and legitimate messages.
The GWAVA tool resides in the GroupWise system, so it can scan live Internet traffic as well as encrypted GroupWise databases to find dormant viruses that passed perimeter protection.
GWAVA 3 also has built-in support for SQL databases to help organizations deal with heavy spam volume. (The tool includes a bundled SQL database.)
