Microsoft Access-to-.NET Migration Tool

Develop database applications and convert Access forms and reports into Web- and .NET-enabled forms.

Microsoft .NET offers many benefits to developers, but the time and resources involved is a major barrier for adopting the new technology. Microtools MS Access to .NET Converter seeks to reduce the costs and time required to transition Microsoft Access data into .NET.

Microtools MS Access to .NET Converter lets you use Access to develop database applications and transform your Access forms and reports into Web-enabled forms and Crystal Reports. This enables companies to continue using Microsoft Access, while taking advantage of .NET technologies and the capabilities of Crystal Decisions.

By turning your applications into Web-enabled Crystal Reports, you can take advantage of the .NET Framework -- and avoid development overhead. The .NET Framework offers integrated support for XML documents and services and improves document sharing within an enterprise.

Converted Web forms are generated in Visual C# .NET, Visual J# .NET, and Visual Basic with ASP.NET and ADO.NET technologies. MS Access to .NET Converter also adds Web client-server database applications to Access file server applications. The Web pages that are generated gives users access to data and reports through a Web browser.

To use the converter, you need Microsoft Access 2002/2000 running on a Windows 2000/XP PC. You also need Crystal Reports 8.5/9 with the Report Designer Component.

Access to .NET Converter licenses start at US$249. A demo and samples are available at http://www.microtools.us.
