Very often, especially with beginner- to intermediate-level Access users, reports are either distributed in Rich Text Format (*.RTF) as Microsoft Word (*.DOC) or exported to Microsoft Excel (*.XLS) using one or more of the various wizards provided in the user interface. Although this gets the job done, it might not be the best approach. For example, assume a multiple-page quarterly financial report has been converted to a 500KB file in one of the aforementioned formats.
