Oracle has announced a new program for training and education on the latest Java, XML, and SQL development techniques for Oracle9i. Oracle will launch Oracle iDevelop2001 Online, a completely online service for training and certifying Internet developers worldwide.
In 2000, the Oracle Technology Network (OTN) let developers develop, test, and deploy their applications online from anywhere in the world. With Oracle iDevelop2001 Online, Oracle is broadening its developer service offerings to provide developers with software, training, and certification for Oracle9i -- all via the Internet.
Through iDevelop2001 Online, developers can get all the content and resources from the live iDevelop2001 conferences online free of charge. Every conference includes 25-plus courses on application development, with topics ranging from creating Web services with Java and XML to creating e-business portals and wireless solutions on Oracle9i. Developers will have access to online resources and services such as Oracle Portal Studio and OracleMobile Online Studio. They'll also be able to use the Internet to view demonstrations through virtual online campgrounds and engage in live chats.
Oracle plans to launch iDevelop2001 Online in April 2001 with a live Webcast on the Oracle E-Business Network. Developers can register to receive additional information about iDevelop2001 Online.
