PermaLink Notes Calendar Demo06/17/2009 02:17:14 PM
I've been helping a partner write a Domino web service that reads and writes Calendar entries.   Our test calendar is here: http://www.msdomino.net/GroupCal.nsf

The WSDL is here:  http://www.msdomino.net/GroupCal.nsf/calendarsync?wsdl

Feel free to try it.

I have done something similar: a web service that read emails in the inbox and a web service to move an email to a folder.

This was done to integrate VSTS with my client's change control application.

Web services in Notes 8 are a lot easier than in Notes 6!!! But your trick to build the WSDL file with Visual Studio helped a lot back then!

Anyone who wrote a pre-Domino 7 web service should win a prize. I used to show how to do it to prove the value of Domino compared to “Work Place” which was called “Next Gen”. A lot of IBM’ers weren’t very happy about doing web services on Domino when it was the only thing Work Place could do that Domino couldn’t.
