Teamwork Solutions ProcessIt Document Library 8 is a three-database suite based on IBM Lotus Domino for managing the creation, updating, and archiving of controlled documents. This version features a simplified setup and configuration interface, consolidated workflow history, and an updated Web interface, designed to make it easier to define and modify document approval workflows of nearly any level of complexity.

ProcessIt! Document Library 8's document management features include:
- Support for full-text searches of documents and attachments
- Seamless navigation between suite databases
- User-specific subscription feature to notify users via e-mail if a subscribed document changes
Designed for use with regulatory-related applications for compliance with Sarbanes-Oxley, Food and Drug Administration, and/or Environmental Protection Agency requirements, ProcessIt Document Library 8 supports electronic signatures for approvals and predetermined or ad-hoc review cycles for approved documents.
ProcessIt! Document Library 8 consists of three databases:
- Published Document database holds approved documents for reference
- Document Approvals database, based on Teamwork Solutions' ProcessIt! workflow application, lets users configure the suite and model the workflows for document reviews
- Document Archives database for archiving superceded or deleted documents from the Published Document database
This version lets multiple Published Documents applications and multiple Document Archive applications work through a single workflow application, so users can manage processes more efficiently, and navigate between suite databases.
ProcessIt Document Library 8 has enhanced workflow capabilities such as document-specific workflows, custom work notifications, enhanced approver Web interface, complete approval routing history, rapid application development, and an open design for customization. ProcessIt Document Library integrates with existing document databases. Documents remain secure due to the security capabilities of Lotus Notes.
