In this article, you'll learn about a cell-based class that lets you navigate through a spreadsheet without having to repeatedly enter cell addresses. Additionally, you can search for values, either horizontally or vertically, without regard to data type; perform basic cell formatting; read or write cell values; establish cell formulas; and perform basic page formatting.
Walter Savinovich has been programming since 1978 when he was in the U.S. Air Force. He's used BASIC, QBASIC, COBOL, Visual Basic, and xBase languages such as dBase II & III, Clipper, FORCE, and FoxPro versions 2.5 through 7. He has worked as a programmer/analyst since 1985, contracting to law firms and major corporations such as GTE, LASPCA, 20th Century Fox, and American Honda, where he is now employed. His latest project was to design and implement a computer model to represent all of American Honda's automotive distribution system.
