With the announcement of the new Sedna project, Microsoft has reaffirmed that it will continue to ensure COM components built with Visual FoxPro work with .NET. Visual FoxPro's ability to build business logic into middle-tier COM components has allowed developers to build n-tier applications for both desktop and Web-based solutions. ActiveVFP, an open source offering from dotComSolution, is a Web-based framework that makes it easier to build COM components that interact with both ASP and ASP.NET solutions. Find out more.
