Parameterized Views -- Rushmore or Rush Less?

It was once common knowledge among FoxPro developers to add an index tag on DELETED() to every FoxPro table. This was believed to improve performance. Chris Probst's groundbreaking article in the May 1999 issue demonstrated this added index tag caused serious performance problems. Now another common practice is causing far more significant performance problems: using parameterized views. Although views are common, they introduce some problems that affect application performance and can be hard to detect and fix. Discover solutions to these problems.
