ActiveX Control Lets Your Programs Use FTP Commands
Using Seekford Solutions FTP Wizard, you can enable your program to upload and download files via the File Transfer Protocol.
Seekford Solutions is offering an ActiveX control that lets a program use the File Transfer Protocol (FTP) to upload and download files, as well as use basic FTP commands. FTP Wizard operates asynchronously and includes example projects for Microsoft Visual FoxPro, Visual Basic, VBScript, Visual C++, and Active ServerPages.
FTP is an application protocol that uses the TCP/IP protocols to send files between Internet-connected computers.
Using FTP Wizard, you can access an FTP server with little code and without having to know many details about how FTP works. You can perform tasks such as create directories, remove files and directories, upload files, and download files. You can use any commands required to carry out normal FTP server usage, such as change a directory or a get directory.
The control works with any ActiveX container and with ActiveX scriptable languages such as VBScript.
