IBM has released the final, "gold" versions of Lotus Notes 6 and Lotus Domino 6.

Notes 6 and Domino 6 offer a long list of productivity features for users, including:

Better mobility for users, including improved wireless access via PDAs, pagers, and Web-enabled mobile phones.
An updated mail and calendar user interface.
In-place editing within views.
Major enhancements to the user interface of Notes, and of Notes applications.
Improved security and administration all around.
Improvements in many key areas for developing custom solutions.

The Lotus Notes 6 client is available for Windows and Macintosh. Designer is available for Windows. Lotus Domino server is available for Windows NT/2000, IBM AIX, Linux, and Sun Solaris/Sparc.
