About this Article:

Most solutions have ways to generate reports. But they typically only give you a "snapshot" of the existing data at a particular moment in time. This article will instruct the reader on how to build a report archiving system using a little known feature of FileMaker. This feature lets you take a picture of a page in Preview mode, which can then be pasted into a container field. By creating a new file which has a container field sized to match the page margins, you can store graphic images of multi-page reports for later review or printing.
