Baan Company N.V. has announced that BaanProject -- a component of its flagship BaanERP software -- has been fully integrated with Microsoft Corp.'s Microsoft Project 2000.
Users can now complete time-phase budget analysis, determine order dates for financial planning, and time phase revenues for installment invoicing -- providing more detailed information and saving time, according to the company.
With this integration, users can pass information such as budget line details, charge element lines, calendars, and schedules between the two applications. Within Microsoft Project 2000, users can set up tasks to be performed, assign resources to tasks, perform network planning, and determine resource leveling. As a result, data can be fully leveraged and passed between the desktop and the project manufacturing environments, says Baan.
