ADVISOR EVENTS
Terms of Use, Policies and Notices |
- DEFINITIONS: "Event" is any live conference, seminar, workshop, show or expo presented or produced by Advisor Media, regardless of the marketing name of the Event. "Producer" is Advisor Media, Inc., and any other firms or parties joining with Advisor to present the Event. "Attendee" is the person attending the Event.
- REGISTRATION: Event registration is not firm until full payment is received.
- PAYMENT: All payments must be in US currency. Checks must be drawn on a US bank.
- DISCOUNTS: Discounts may not be combined and may be changed by Producer at any time.
EARLY DISCOUNT: Early-registration discount is not earned unless full payment is received by specified date.
TEAM DISCOUNT: A company that registers 3 or 4 attendees will save $150 on each registration fee. A company that registers 5 or more will save $200 on each registration fee. All registration forms and payments must be submitted together to qualify.
GOVERNMENT DISCOUNT: An employee of a U.S. taxpayer-supported entity will get a $100 discount. Qualifying U.S. organizations include federal, state, and municipal governments, military, public schools, and public departments and agencies. Government ID is required.
ALUMNI DISCOUNT: An attendee of a prior Advisor Event who registers for the current Event will receive a $100 discount off the registration fee. To determine attendee eligibility call Advisor Events at 858-278-5600.
- CANCELLATION: Written cancellation received at least 30 calendar days prior to the Event will be charged a $150 cancellation fee. Cancellation received less than 30 calendar days before the Event or "no-show" will be charged the full registration fee, and no refund will be issued. Upon written request by the original registrant prior to the Event, a paid registration may be transferred to another person, or the payment may be applied to a future ADVISOR Event.
- SPECIAL NEEDS: An Attendee with special needs or other reasonable requirements must send a written request at least 30 days prior to the Event. Event Producer will try to accommodate, but special needs and requests cannot be guaranteed.
- THIRD-PARTY ACTIVITIES: Presenting seminars, classes, or other meetings for attendees at the Event hotel are prohibited from two days prior through two days after the Event dates.
- MEALS: Certain meals and snacks are provided for Attendees. They must be consumed in the Event area. Attendee will be charged for any food or beverages removed from Event area, or provided to non-Attendees.
- ADULTS-ONLY: No one under 16, including infants, will be admitted to any Event activities, including meals, exhibit hall, and Attendee parties.
- RECORDING/PHOTOGRAPHY: The use of audio or video recording devices or cameras by Attendees is prohibited in all Event sessions.
- PHOTO & NAME RELEASE: Event Producer may make photographs and recordings of Event activities. Attendees are asked to provide written Event evaluation comments. By attending, Attendee grants Producer permission to use likeness, voice, comments, name, city, and company name in future marketing materials.
- MISCELLANEOUS: Producer reserves the right to alter announced content, speakers, schedule, Attendee materials, and all other elements without notice or obligation. Producer reserves the right to cancel at any time with sole obligation to refund paid registration fees. A portion of hotel room revenue may be rebated to Producer to defray Event costs. Producer reserves the right to refuse admittance to anyone for any reason, or for no reason, upon review of credentials and Web sites during the pre-registration and on-site registration periods.
